Went into the store expecting something special. This store is usually near the top of a lot of Best of lists, but was a bit disappointed. What seemed like a good selection became an okay selection when I realized they had a lot of beers from a lot of the same breweries so the shelves seemed a lot fuller. If you're looking for a beer from a place you know they carry, good chance they'll have it but if you want something different you may have to keep looking.

Expansive place and good selection. Couple of dedicated beer nerds are on staff to answer any level of beer question. Upscale and clean place. Quite impressive really.
However, for being such a huge place, the selection of exciting beers is still not as good as Brewery Creek (which is a very small fraction of the floor space). Legacy's first priority is wine and scotch, beer is down the list. Not to say their selection isn't great - it is quite good and if an exciting local brew came out, they'll have it. But with all their space, beer selection could be better if they wanted it to be.
Perhaps not important but their website is just awful. Virtually useless.

I went in to the Legacy Liquor Store today for my first time and was blown away. Not only did they have a largest selection of craft beer I have ever seen in British Columbia, but the atmosphere was exceptional as well. I was asked for help by four different staff members while I was there.
This store offers beers which I had never seen at other private liquor stores, and has a large amount of space dedicated to craft beer 6 and 4 packs. On top of this, they were fully stocked; unlike other private liquor stores which often suffer from shortages of popular beers. As of right now, this is as good as it gets in B.C.
Prices are average for Vancouver (comparable to Firefly and Brewery Creek) but more expensive than other stores in the Lower Mainland.
