Yes, the atmosphere is nice,
the beer selection is OK too,
but then we have the price.

English-style pub with standard Swedish service. Sometimes an unexpected beer might find its way to the bar, which is great--until the bill comes. Worth a visit at least once.

When it comes to a Bishops Arms, you can't go wrong. The Växjö-establishment is no exception. I happend to visit on two nights, just before their 10th anniversary. They were filling the shelfs with lots of "guest-bottles" just for the occation; mostly AIPA.

The atmoshpere is typical for this chain of bars; English. This one got a library with nice armchairs.

There is a nice selection of both bottles and taps; some Swedish micro-breweries (for example, when I visited they got 4 different Ängö on tap and another one on bottle), English, Scottish, American, Canadian, German and Belgian beers.

The people behind the bar really worked their buts off to provide more extreme beers. I sampled quite some of their anniversary-beers before they had put them on shelfs.

They serve the beers in proper glasses for each beer-style.

The food is typical English bar-food. Sturdy and filling, just the way I like it.
