A barrel-aged Helles bock? Sure, sign me up!

Arrived in sample glass a cloudy thick amber. Looks like apple juice. No lace present.

Aroma is whiskey, front and center.

Tasting brings a touch of malty sweetness. There's a good balance here, and Debbie Does Helles is an easy-to-drink ale. My only issue is that the bourbon barrel character overpowers all else.  Solid but not one I'd revisit.
