On tap. Poured an opaque, jet-black color with a small, thin head of foam. It smelled of chocolate, toffee and roasted malt. Sweet chocolate, toffee and malty taste.

Just like chasing "Bo & Luke" but can never keep up, Rosco & Enos follows behind with a lot of the same flavors of its imperial predecessor, but taking a backseat in flavor across the board.

Its smoky char hovers above its ominously dark austere. Building arid creme and mocha-stained foam, its scent is rich with coffee, cocoa and captivating brisket. While malty-sweet to start, its robust roast character quickly takes center stage in taste.

Incredibly smoky and meaty, any malt sweetness is short lived as its burnt sugars and malted milk creaminess recedes over the middle palate leaving the billowing flavor of smoldering embers, campfire, cigar and smoky chocolate to command the taste thereafter.

Its hop bitterness is easily disguised as dark-roast coffee, roasted acidity and bitter chocolate and rise to keep the robust beer dry and medium weighted on the palate. Surprisingly easy to drink, the smoked porter is remarkably dry even if echoes of ash beg for another quick drink. Its kinda like drinking a pork chop.

Fairly smoky and roasty aroma, with lots of dark chocolate and tar. Flavor is meaty and smoky, with a charred, roasty bitter finish. There's enough chocolate character to weave the flavor profile together, but roast and char dominate the aftertaste.
