Served on tap in a pokal at the 2015 Lake Zurich Craft Beer Fest.
Kinda surprised to see these guys up here, but not gonna argue. This stuff pours a mostly clear amber-brass topped by a finger or so of lightly off-white foam. The nose leads with grass, which is strongly backed by biscuit and mild dried caramel. The taste follows suit, but there's an overwhelming green bitterness pervading the background, and then a strange burnt rice flavor creeps up through the finish. Unpleasant to say the least. The body is a rather light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a drying finish. Overall, this was one of the poorest showings of the festival; my boy VDubb and I exchanged worried glances after our initial sips, and the subsequent gulps didn't change our minds.

This beer is awesome! Full of flavor not too heavy. Can't drink 6 but could do a couple! Thinking I will go get a growler tonight!
