Tall can ... nothing on the bottom of the can that makes any sense to me

Pour is typical looking lightly hazed lighter almond amber, moderate spotty lacing left on the glass.

Grassy hop/malt nose

On the palate its some mashed up pineapple, grassy hops and some honey infused malts, with a hint of smoke

Complex, smooth , tasty and well worth a try

L: burnished brassy gold with a light haze under a 1/2" off-white to cream cap with fair to good retention.

S: citrusy with some herb and light bread crumb in the background. The hop aromas are medium and the malt aromas are medium low.

T: It starts super creamy with fruit, citrus, light tropical, bread crumb and some tropical fruit flavors leading to a moderate to moderately high bitter hop accent. There is a good balance of hop, fruit, malt and hop bitterness that lingers long. The bitterness is not harsh.

F: medium body and medium to medium high carbonation and is very soft and creamy.

O: edgy but well balanced and drinkable beer.

I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with no head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had hints of pine and spice. The taste was bitter leaning with pine and floral spice presence. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's ok.

Tasted back in mid-march

L: clear copper color, one finger thick white head. Lots of effervescence.
A: Not much hops but a faint malty smell.
T: Malt-forward with very little hops. Slightly sweet flavor with a moderate bitterness that lingers to the aftertaste along with a little alcohol-y flavor. There is a malt flavor that is a little different from what I'm used to but unsure how to describe it - a nice flavor to it though.
M: A nice clean feel with just a little stickiness on the lips.
O: This is a traditional IPA that measures up well. I would like a little hop flavor to it but that's just my bias.

Pours an effervescent & slightly hazed gold with 2 fingers of pearl colored head. Persistent effervescence. below aveage lacing & no head retention

S: Faint grassyness & breadyness, mango once warm

T: Slight breadyness & tangerine, dryness & pear up front. Mango & tangerine, dryness & grassyness as this warms. Finishes with pomelo, dryness & grassyness

MF: Medium body, fairly restrained carbonation, good balance

Drinks easy, but nothing special here,

Look: Crystal clear amber with a thick white head. Moderate activity. Good lacing.

Smell: Pungent hops. Bready malt that holds its own against the hops. Notes of nectarine, Wild flower honey, fresh baked bread, and grapefruit.

Taste: Tropical hops on the attack. This fades with a prickly bitter pine dryness to a body of orange marmalade on whole wheat biscuits. The finish is a light bitter rose note.

Feel: Medium bodied. Good carbonation. Medium bitterness. Finish is dry. No alcohol.

Overall: A solid American IPA. It has no real flaws to speak of, and yet it isn't anything spectacular either. Good stuff.

Poured from a 16oz can into a Speiglau IPA glass.

Look is a a bright clear amber orange with a thin head that dissipates quickly.

Aroma is light herbal with a touch of lemon citrus at the end.

Taste is clean biscuit malt with a light but present hop aroma at the end that fades into an herbal floralness.

Really delicious beer. Smooth drinker.

Pile Of Face | Against The Grain Brewery & Smokehouse. Poured from the can into a pint glass, the head is three fingers thick, with webbed lacing, and a slightly hazed medium golden amber body.

Smells like "citrus" and "tropical" hops and a "bread dough" malt base.

I taste a juicy, clean, and smooth version of the smell.

Medium-light mouthfeel with mild carbonation.

Overall, I'll give Pile Of Face | Against The Grain Brewery & Smokehouse a 4.25.

A: The beer is crystal clear amber yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacy rings of bubbles around the edges of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of dank hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the flavors of dank hops are somewhat stronger with notes of tropical fruit, herbal, and piney hops, the latter of which lingers into the finish. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA has a good balance between the malts and hops and isn't overly bitter.
