Pours an effervescent & chill hazed orange/caramel with a thumb of tan head. A little better than average head retention & lacing
S: Smokey not much else getting through
T: Dry, smokey, with a caramel sweetness, some rough barrel & pears up front. Smokeyness ( beechnut & bubblegum ) & dryness as this warms, I do pick up some astringent walnut shell notes too. Finishes dry, smokey & with some woody bitterness, along with some bubblegum
MF: Semi-chewy, fairly restrained carbonation
Drinks pretty easy, this would work as a Rauchbier for me. Still way too fricking pricey
