A: The beer is very dark brown in color (black when viewed from afar) and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a thin light beige head that quickly died down, leaving a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of chocolate, nutty and roasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell, except that each of the flavors—particularly the nutty malts— is more pronounced. Slight hints of bitterness are perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I didn't get any of the honey in the smell or taste, but this is a really nice example of an English Porter that has some complexities. It is very easy to drink.

On tap at TJ's in Paoli. Pours nearly black with a slowly settling tan head and sticky lacing. Very chocolatey, roasty nose with hints of honey sweetness and toasted bread.
Delicious flavor here; well balanced between dark chocolate, caramel, and roasted malt notes; again the honey is hinted at but not at the fore and the overall sweetness is held very much in check. Very subtle hop bitterness ties things together but stays in the background.
Medium body, moderate carbonation, very silky, smooth, and creamy feel on draught.
I really dug this one. It's packed with flavor, everything holds together harmoniously, and the mouthfeel was superb. Drinks a bit bigger than its 6.5 ABV.

Poured at a good temperature with a large, thick, foamy, light tan head that mostly settles down but lasts the whole glass and a little lace. Color is a clear brown red with a few bubble trails. Aroma is a very fragrant blend of honey, roast, malt, hop. Flavor is the weak ling here; not a lot going on. Carbonic tang up front followed by bittersweet and a little of the nose qualities. Body n carbonation are average. Finish is like flavor, of average length, and fairly forgettable except the aroma.

First had: on tap at Farmers' Cabinet, Philly, PA
As I rushed to meet up with my wife, she saved me a bit of this, so I had a starter when I got to the bar. Dark brown color with a few stray bubbles remaining on top by the time I got to it. Sweet aroma of honey and dark malts, moderately roasty. Similar traits in the taste, sweet with honey and caramel, melding with the dark malts for an almost molassesey taste, light notes of herbal hops and/or heather spice. About medium-bodied, clean, and quite downable overall.
