It pours like a cloudy homebrew. Excellent frothy head with lasting power. It leaves a solid ring of lace after the initial sip. After that, there's plenty of large pieces of lace.
Very pleasant blend of pale malt, a touch of graininess, and aromatic, floral hop. There's a touch of cream (in a good way) as well. One of the best aromas I've ever tried.
The flavor is superb as it matches the smell in intensity and character. The taste starts with a near-perfect pale malt. The hop comes in strong, more than the nose would indicate, but it's not overwhelming. This leaves a long aftertaste. It's well balanced and complex.
This may be the very best pale ale I have ever had. Simply superb.
