This is another place, in a long list of places, that was just fine to me. Nothing about it was really all that bad, but nothing about it was all that good. I'm not sure I would include it in a must visit list for Toronto.

Love this place. Mostly, locals, most of the time as the Junction is a little off the beaten path, so while the tourists and box-tickers head downtown, the locals have this place to ourselves, at least until the weekend evenings. Its busy and occasionally loud, but if you pick the right time to visit its very laid back. Service is always great, attentive and someone will always be happy to geek out with you if you like. Food is the best, many people here just for the food, then discouver the amazing beers. Always have a top-shelf IPA on tap, and a sour or two - ask about what's new and recent bottle list is A+. Rare releases are always around if you are lucky enough to find one, grab a couple. Only complaint, no real access to tour or see the brewery unless a brewer is there and has the time. Bottle shop is always stocked and great.

A packed place with a nice bottle shop. At the time of my visit the fridges were stocked with all sorts of brews. Reasonably priced and a nice line-up of Fates & Furies. Service was spot on.

Great vibe - lively and fun without being too noisy. Service is good. The food is fine but the menu short. The beer choices are dominated by hop forward ales. Some good guests.

Dropped in to hit the bottle shop but stayed for a 5 sample paddle. Nice environment. Clean. In the "Junction" so it's a hip albeit ran down area of town.

Nice 12 or so brews on tap. Paddles run between $10-$15 for a 5 sampler. 5oz glasses that you get 4oz in. No real big beers on tap though. Almost everything has a add on price though. Any deviation in price from the base will cost you. If you want anything other than water it will cost you. If you ask them to sneeze on the glass it will cost you.

Didn't have any food but did see some coming out of the kitchen that looked good.

Friendly service and with some marketing should get more customers.

Vibe: Located in an awesome area - The Junction, which incredibly was dry until 2000! Indie Ale House's vibe is pretty great, very cozy, wood walls and comfortable L-shaped room. A nice bottle shop/to go area located up front.

Quality: Beers are good overall. Quite a few styles brewed on-site to choose from, and some other guest taps to boot.

Service: Great. Attentive, and very knowledgeable about the food and beer.

Selection: Good variety of beers/styles to choose from (I think there were 10-plus bees to choose from).

Food: Again, impressed by the food. Fried chicken was delicious. As was the quinoa salad.

One of my favourite spots for beer and food in Toronto. Great atmosphere, friendly service with knowledgeable staff that is always willing to let you taste before you order a full glass. Despite no patio, the large street-front windows tend to give the place an airy, open feel.

The food is very good, and the boneless fired chicken is fantastic. Flights of five beers range in price from $10 to $15. Most pulls are $7 with the size offered dependent on style and ABV. There is usually one beer on cask available. The adjoining bottle shop has improved in so far as there is an increased attention to bottles whereas in the past, the 1.89 litre growler dominated. Other merchandise is a little pricey.

Arrived to the place arround 5 a Tuesday. First impressions the place looked beautiful, from outside was very appealing and in the inside it was very cozy.

Costumer service definitely lacked the bartender bearly greeted me, no smile, pretty much a what do you want. He still was pretty helpful answering my questions he was polite just his attitude wasn't the right one.

The beer was great (some of them). There were some "experimental" styles that I didn't enjoyed. The food was great too the anchovi Pizza paired perfectly with the Belgian IPA I was drinking.

The cashier at the bottle shop was different from the server, much more friendlier and nice.

Overall a really nice place with great food and beer, worth checking out.
