We were sitting in the beer garden at the small square, so I can’t tell much about the interior. At a sunny summer afternoon, the climate was very pleasant and relaxed.

The service was average: The girls were helpful, but the place was understaffed.

They serve one own beer, a München Helles brewed by Mahr’s. Rauchbier from Schenerla and Spezial are also offered from keg, as is several Mahr’s beers. All beers were served in excellent condition at the correct temperature.

I had the schnitzel. A bit dry, but I liked it anyhow. The apfelstrudel was very satisfying and filling.

All in all a good restaurant with a fine beer garden located just a few meters from at least 5 good or great beer bars in Bamberg Altstadt. .
