Handsome dark orangey-amber, almost a coppery color in the Duvel tulip. Foam doesn't rise up very far, but this is plenty carbonated and quite spritzy on the tongue. A whiff of resiins and pineapple.
This has a maltier sensation than a lot of IPAs, which I personally like. It's not so sharp and thin, but it's not really sweet. It just has more heft to counteract all the hop acidity. This is still plenty sharp, but it is mellowed some. There is a very pleasant touch of mango and apple that reminds me of cider (but not the bad homebrew cidery taste).
Quite a bitter aftertaste. Well, plenty bitter from start to finish. From the four-pack of 16 oz cans purchased at Beverage Warehouse near Marina Del Rey.

Amazing brown/red hue that left amazing lacing the whole beer down. Very fruity hops and very sweet malt almost reminds me of a light barleywine. It starts out very sweet and malty and ends with a crisp fruity hop bitterness. It turns into a piney hop taste on the aftertaste. A plus beer.
