Bought a 6-pack cans Don Quiojte $8.29
Sme of melons
Slightly hazy light golden color
Light mouthfeel
Medium cabonation
Light melon taste, wheat, kind of thin
Overall just an ok beer. The light taste doesn't do it for me. Wouldn't buy again.

Wow, smells like cutting into a cantaloupe. Light watermelon follows and while this isn't a sweet beer, the melons come on strong. It tastes like it'd make an amazing slushie, but as someone who's not a huge melon fan to begin with I'll pass along the other cans to friends that are. Personal taste aside, it's undoubtedly a melon beer.

Interesting... but overall doesn't work for me. It's light in color, looks as if it would be a nice, summery ale. Lots of melon in the fragrance. Pretty nice. But then, the flavor. At first, there is a fair amount of melon-like taste, but not at all sweet. It's not bad. Unfortunately, after the beer has left the palate, there is - for me anyway - a distinctly unpleasant rind-like aftertaste. I don't know how else to describe it other than melon rind but with absolutely no hint of sweetness. That aftertaste is a deal breaker for me.

Bug aromas of cantaloupe and honeydew in the nose. Look is pale gold with frothy white head layered lacing. Taste is full.of fresh cantaloupe and watermelon and basically those are the dominant forces. Extremely refreshing, just wish that the hops had just a tad bit more presence. Great summertime beer and awesomely sessionable at 4 percent abv

A thanks to the founding father of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a bright golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is cantaloupe up front, honeydew and watermelon in the background. Taste is tart, mixed melons, dry, more sour than I expected. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Very clear light golden color with two fingers of foamy white head. Tons of visible carbonation! Lacing down the glass as I drink it.

The smell is bready and fruity sweet. Picking up a lot of melon fruit smell in this one. The smell is very sweet on that fruit.

Taste has some watermelon flavor along with some other melons. Kind of a chewy white bread taste also.

Mouth is thick medium with a lingering finish.

A sweet fruity beer that really tastes like a malted fruit beverage. Lives up to all of the melons that they put into it for sure.

I am curious as to why this does not previously exist. Did I overlook something? Either way, I will submit a picture for approval & stand by for vilification if there is reason. In the interim, The CANQuest CANtinues unabated.

From the CAN: "Watermelon Wheat Ale with Honeydew and CANtaloupe"; "A series inspired by the iconic fruit cart vendors of Los Angeles"; From their packaging: "Thanks for enjoying our beer! For us, living and brewing in LA are equal parts free spirit and hard work. Driven by ambition with the warm California breeze at our backs, we're proud to share our latest creation with you. We hope to see you at one of our California locations soon. Cheers!"

Welcome (back) to #WatermelonWednesday ! Bump the hump & simply Crack! & give it an inverted Glug for maximum relaxation. I was pretty relaxed until it suddenly jumped up, creating two-plus fingers of foamy, rocky, bone-white head with moderate retention. Color was an oh-so-slightly hazy Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4). Nose was definitely watermelon, acCANponied by some other sweet melon flavors. Oh my! Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, not watery, but lacking in enough intensity to call it medium. The taste was prevalently watermelon, but I could certainly get CANtaloupe also with another flavor. I might not have gotten honeydew on my own, but once I knew what to perceive, it was obvious. This was really well done with each of the adjunct fruit flavors given a chance to shine. Finish was semi-sweet with a load of melon flavors bouncing around in my mouth without being overwhelming or cloying. This is one that I would like to revisit in the summer.

Super light color with a nice head. Smell is outstanding Mellon. Super Mellon taste up front. So light it gives a bit of sharpness at the end. If you like fruit beer, this is a great choice.

From an aluminum can, this brew is a fruity, melon-bomb. The beer is a light, hazy, whiteish-yellow beer. The head is slim and the aroma is outrageously melon. Serious fruit...all sweet, sugary melon. The taste is moderately sweet, and flavorful. Enjoyable brew.

This was different than most watermelon beers because. Of the melon added. It didn't taste artifical, could still taste the base beer which wasn't bad at all. The melon flavor washed out the watermelon a lot but that was ok as it still produced a unique and flavorful beer
