Golden with lots of white head. Smells of lemons and orange. The taste basically follows the smell. More lemon than orange, perhaps a bit of mandarin in there as well and a hint of cracker in the malts. The taste is fairly typical for an IPA but a little on the weak side. Overall, decent but nothing special.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a pint glass.

L: Pours a hazy golden color, with a solid 2-finger head that dissipated to moderate lacing.

S: Solid aroma with pine and citrus hints.

T: Fairly well balanced with pine and citrus to match the aroma, and a little malt presence. Not overly bitter.

F: A little dry and thin. Notice the hops in the finish, but not overpowering.

O: Decent IPA. Wouldn't be my first choice, but it gets the job done, and is very portable in the 12 oz. cans.

Canned on 4/15/16 and poured into the classic hotel plastic cup.

Color of the pour and the head itself are awesome, with a medium, deep golden color and a thick, creamy, and dense head that hangs around forever. On the nose there is a ton of honey presence that leads into a lightly piney hop bitterness. The end of the scent has just a touch of citrus bitterness.

On the tongue, the beer lends itself to the same flavor profile as the scent, starting with a light sweetness and moving towards a piney bitterness. The bitterness ramps up the longer the drink goes, but still retains a bit of the honey quality from the initial portion of the drink. As far as feel goes, it is somewhat light and thin on the palate, but still easily drinking.

Overall, this is a decent IPA with a somewhat unique hop profile. The honey-like flavor is unique and different, but there isn't quite the hop bitterness punch that a true hop head would want. That being said, this is still a pretty decent brew.
