Can courtesy of Nosignsofpain. Thanks Sam!

A - Pours a cloudy orange-gold with a soapy white head that settles to a think haze and sudsy ring, leaving spotty lacing clinging to the glass.
S - Crisp, fruity aromas of banana and ripe pear with a touch of clove and a good amount of sweet bubblegum character.
T - Moderately flavorful, with banana and bubblegum jumping out the most, followed by a muted clove note. A bit watered-down.
M - Fairly crisp, with a slightly watery medium-thin body and good carbonation.
O - Decent enough Hefeweizen, probably nice on a hot day, but I'll stick with Weihenstephaner.

On tap at Tony's Darts Away in Burbank, CA.

Pours a murky golden color with a 1/2 inch foamy off-white head that fades to nothing. Small streaks of lace line the glass on the drink down. The smell and taste of this one are pretty much the same with wheat, spices, banana, and bubble gum. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp and clean mouthfeel. Overall, this is a refreshing and easy to drink hefeweizen. Good stuff.

A: Pours a cloudy light brownish orange color with a thin white head. Looks a lot like unfiltered apple juice.

S: I wouldn't call the smell large, but there's something there to be found. Some powdery yeast notes, slight banana bread, bubblegum, orange zest and some bready malts.

T: Citrus notes upfront. Orange and some faint lemon are first. Then a lot of malt breadiness with some yeast present as well. Finish is a touch weak with a bit of white pepper and lemon zest. Not a terrible hef, but nothing outstanding.

12 oz. can - Best enjoyed by 12/16/2019 stamped on bottom:
Poured into HW glass:

Pours clouded golden yellow with an orange tint. The white head descends a bit too quickly. Some trailing lace slides down the glass with some stickage.

Some banana, subtle orange. slight clove.

The taste is of banana/clove - rather mild. Subtle orange. Wheat tang in the finish. Finishes more like an APWA.

On the thinner side, but it holds together.

To me, it's more of a HW inspired APWA, but nice for that. Pretty mild, but pretty pleasant. Nice enough, inoffensive, but nothing particularly special at all, IMO.

Served from a can into a conical Guinness pint glass in low altitude Los Angeles, California. Reviewed live. Not paired with food. Expectations are low.

A: Pours a one finger head of fair cream and thickness, and okay/average retention (~two minutes). Colour is a murky hazy nontransparent orange-gold. Standard appearance for a hefeweizen, but it's dull rather than bright and appealing.

Sm: Orange peel, clove, banana, and wheat. A moderately strong aroma.

T: A wheat foundation with trace amounts of fruit esters atop - mainly dirty orange peel. No yeast comes through. A boring simple build for a hefeweizen. Some clove comes through on the climax. The balance is lackluster. This is mundane. At least no alcohol comes through. Very bland.

Mf: Smooth and wet, but too thick for the lack of flavour. Nothing exemplary here.

Dr: A run of the mill bad hefeweizen. There's nothing here to keep me coming back, and at this point I'm even suspicious of the brewery.

A-Golden tangerine with vibrant white foam out of the can.

S-Soft banana

T-Banana and lemon citrus.

M-Creamy texture with good length on the finish. My favorite part of the beer.

O-Not bad, best during a warm day. Not terribly remarkable however.

Canned on 04/26/2012. Tulip glass.

A: Pours a cloudy light gold color with a thin cap of white head which recedes almost immediately. A bit of lacing.

S: Lots of banana and malt with a hint of citrus.

T: Grainy malt and a little clove. The banana is there but doesn't come through as much.

M: Medium body and low carbonation. A little more carbonation would add some crispness.

O: Pretty easy to drink, good enough flavors.
