Great place to visit, gets crowded at night

I saw on theskedge.com that the Pub was doing something cool for St. Paddy's Day so I checked it out! The deals were amazing ($5 pints) and they had live music plus some festive things like St. Patrick's colored glitter stations. It was an awesome time, great environment!

My review is based on the Anaheim facility. This place is the standard warehouse taproom. That being said it's a cool place. Nice employees and a great selection. They have some lesser known beers than the ones you see at stores. A must stop for that reason alone.

 

 

Textbook brewery taproom and pub. Airy warehouse interior with comfy bar, tables and shop, as well as a nice patio outside. Good selection of house brews on tap (or to go as growlers), as well as a few interesting guest taps. Beer offering covers a good range, though house styles lean towards conservative in interpretation. Good food selection expands on typical pub fare with even some vegetarian options (tasty fried avocado tacos).

Golden Road has a neat taproom in an old warehouse with a great neighborhood pub feel. They have 14 taps, plus 4 guest taps, with some interesting things on offer. I was impressed that, when I ordered the Berliner Weiss, I was offered a choice of syrups to add -- I went with the traditional woodruff. You don't see that many places.

The service was decent and I got lunch there as well; the food is pretty good. I could definitely see Golden Road being a good place to hang out.

Overall vibe is pretty cool. Big place, bigger than I expected. Dog/kid friendly a major plus. Food was quite good. They only have 2 flights of beers that are set. That sucks for us beer geeks. I do understand why, seeing the serious volume they do, but... Also, they will bring you a taster, but they are really, really small. I nearly always offer to pay for tasters, but I like to get at least 3-4 oz. One bad, was the men's room. It was decrepit. However, as a beer fan, I don't consider that too much when rating a place.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It's like a neighborhood cookout every time you go. Good food, fun games, just a great vibe. A lot of parking, no guest taps but house beers are pretty good and diverse

 

I actually found their food to be better than the beer.
