Poured at about 40 degrees from undated can. Rye is all over both the nose and tongue with peppery spiciness. Nice counterpoint to bitter hops. Medium - thick feel is another plus.

Thanks to the gkheater for this seriously cool, black-and-white silhouette, 16 oz. can. Somebody went professional with their can design. Consumed in lovely Austin, MN, looking out over a corn field from my window while watching the Twins (not lose for a change – yet).

The pour is orange with a slash of red; I have to take a heaping mouthful to get all of it into my traveling glass (never travel without your own glass; I’ve drunk out of plastic hotel glop, & this hipster says ‘not cool’). Mild rye farmland dirt in the nose, nothing else. Weak.

Saucy Intruder: no fancy dance steps here. Straight peppery rye with a blending of sixteen different years of earthiness, touch of caramel, light citrus & pureed pine, moderate bitterness on the finish. Bit thick, but slipping down like an oily stripper.

Hit buttons, produce rye IPA. No molds were shattered in the making of this beer, just a good, solid brew.

On tap. Looks Amber orange min head. Smells rye and mild citral tones. Taste is a bit piney like its a 90+ IBU but only at 75. Dry Rye and citrus and caramel malts with a bit of a nutty complex. Interesting. Feel is creamy at front, mid is bitter rye and a mix of both on back. Overall enjoyable offering.

Dark orange/ Amber appearance 1 finger head. Pineapple aroma, grapefruit, grass, sap. Taste- quite good. Pineapple, and orange. Mild bitterness, with a bitter ripe fruitiness to it. Bubbly mouthfeel. Overall good tasting beer. (Natural Liberty is available though. ; D)
