This ale recently made its appearance at a local beer store. The label has an instruction to serve the ale at 37 degrees but no freshness date.
The ale poured a bright and clear gold/orange hue with very little head retention.
The aroma was very mild with some vague but clean citrusy aroma.
This is a nice, refreshing ale with a pleasant hop bitterness dominating. I only wish the hop had a little more citrus in the flavor. As the hop subsides, there is a faint, buttery malt flavor on the palate that lingers before the hop bitters return.
The body was rather thin with a clean and slick mouth feel. The carbonation was surprisingly restrained.
This is a flavorful, refreshing ale that could have been even better with a more complex hop profile.

Pours a pleasant clear amber, with limited carbonation and lackluster lace.

Nose is crisp citrus hops. I get some grainy malts there, too, somehow. Either way, solid.

Taste is nicely hoppy (as the name implies), with plenty of citrus, grapefruit, and pine tones. It must be noted that this one also features a firm malt presence underneath the hops.

This is a very fair and balanced American pale ale -- plenty of crisp hops to appease even the most die-hard IPA nuts, and more than sessionable. Nice work!

Pours a hazy dark orange, spotty lace around the edges.

Smells a little mellow, biscuity pale malt, earthy hop note.
Taste is a little more hop forward, lightly bitter with a green dandelion aftertaste. Mild bitter grapefruit zest. Feels a bit under-carbed after the first few sips. Overall it was ok, but lacking in any distinctive characteristics.
