Clear amber in the glass, though the brewer says this is unfiltered. In any case, there is none of the usual Hefeweizen haziness. Slim head and quite restrained carbonation on the tongue.

Plenty of the German aromatics and estery flavors. Has a fragrant clove taste, though not too strong. A whiff of banana. Tangy and on the acidic side. Quite malty. It's a more substantial sort of Hefeweizen.

On tap at the brewery restaurant in Glendale. Quite drinkable but lacks the German creamy carbonation.

On tap at the Bull and Bush. Poured into a pint glass.
Appearance - not much here. Looks somewhat flat. Looks very clean and crisp, though.
Smell - banana, cloves, lemon. Very nice; solid nose!
Taste - very refreshing, tasty!
Feel - for a beer that looks flat, this one feels very carbonated.
Overall - a very refreshing brew; would have again, but only on a hot day.

quite a pedestrian hefeweizen. pours the classic hazy sunny yellow color with a one inch foamy white head. smells like conventional hefe yeast, lighter wheat malt, and citrus. flavor is similar, but plenty of spicy clove notes in there as well. yeast is too strong to let other flavors have their respective moments, and its actually quite bitter in a lemon rind kind of way, not in a hoppy way. feel is fine, medium bodied and fairly carbonated. more filling though than it should be, and probably not a beer ill order again, especially with so many better selections on tap at the pub.

Served in a 12 oz pint glass:

Poured a nice hazy yellow-ish, almost a light orange. White head, light that was not well retained.

Nice aroma...light, but yeasty with a slight citrus aroma.

Taste is the same as the nose, but a little more strong, maybe a hint of banana and maybe some cloves, but very, very light.

Body was light with lighter carbonation than expected, but creamy. The beer did feel a little watered down.

Drinkability was good. Overall not a bad representation of the style.

This hefe was golden and hazy like most are with a white head. The aroma was like banana-bubblegum. The taste had a little clove, more banana and bubblegum and was delicious.I was really impressed by this beer and I am not a fan of Hefeweizens. Good stuff.

This beer was cloudy and bubbly like typical hefe's, but was a lighter straw color than I normally see. The aroma was like having a banana shoved in my nose. Behind the massive wall of banana there was a good heavy wheat body and some lemon. This would make a good summer drinker.

A hazy golden pour, served with orange slice. Orange slice put aside. Head of about 1 finger, not very strong looking.
Aroma has hints of lemongrass, sweet apples, some orange (maybe from the slice) and lemon.
Taste is a crisp lemon flavored ale, zest just isn't there. Still, it's refreshing, enough lemon-y and carbonation to perk up the mouth a bit.
