Served cold in a large fluted glass.

Happy Hop is a very pale golden yellow color with descent clarity.

Aroma is mild with very little hop or yeast presence.

Flavor is also mild but still fairly flavorful and hoppy. It has a nice citrus hop and light pilsner malt.

Mouthfeel is light in cost, balanced, and crisp.

Overall a nice Americanized version of a Czech pilsner.

Pours yellow/straw with 1/2" of off white head. Above average head retention & lacing

S: Grassy & lemony hops, also some toasty notes

T: Grassy & lemony hops, plus slight grainyness & crackery notes up front. Dryness, a bit of honey sweetness & slight peppery notes follow along with grainy notes as this warms. Finishes crisp, a bit dry & bready

MF: Medium bodied with perfect carbonation

Drank too easy, really nice fresh pils. Took me back to Germany!

Preface: I don't like pilsners all that well.
Pours a darker pale yellow than I expected. A light gold. Nice looking head, a bit soapy. Stayed around for a bit.
Smell is a bit odd to me. Some citrus and herbal spice, corriander. Malt is present, but not heavy at all.
Taste: blew me away. This is good. A sharp, clean, yet minute corriander and persimmon. A light hint of fresh floral hops and a subtle malt finish. This is good. Easy drinking and refreshing. Clean and crisp. Little aftertaste.

Experienced from the tap at the brewery.

The body appears clear with a pale gold color, thin head; nice foam sheeting on the glass after each sip. Light malt nose; floral; white wine; pear. Light grain flavor with a a well-balanced hop bitterness; light fruitiness overall; very faint citrus taste notes. Light bodied, leaning towards medium in character; somewhat coarse on the palate with the carbonation; dry finish.

A delicious, well-balanced, thirst quenching lager styling. Refreshing throughout and graced with an almost delicate floral note that makes for a subtly complex yet pleasantly approachable beer.

Look: Pours golden and clear with a l slight head.

Aroma: mostly light malt with a touch of floral hops in the back.

Taste: Nice clean pilsner. Slight grassy flavor with some light malts. Quickly fades to noble hops.

Fizzy mouthfeel. Dry finish with a hops taste that lingers in the ack of the throat.

Very nice clean pilsner. I could drink this again and often.

Had this on tap at the brewery, and brought home a growler. Pours clear gold, average head with a pretty good amount of lacing. Smell is grainy with a bit of citrus hop. Taste is very similar, with a nice malty backbone and a bit more hops than average. Highly drinkable, a nice American take on the style.

Pours a yellow straw with a thin white head. Nose has bready malts, pale hops and some light fruit tones. The taste is citrusy with some bright hops and grainy malts. Clean, crisp body is well carbonated. Drinks well. A very nice pilsner from Bull and Bush.

US German Pils? A pint poured was a lemony yellow with a limited head and not lacing. Good clarity. The nose was noticeable hoppy for pilsner. Evident citrus hops with some cascade (?) and some herbal hop I couldn’t quit place. The malt was limited but some grainy and pilsner taste. Would have liked more of a balance in the nose.

The taste was more balanced with the malt and hops than what the nose indicates. A decent bitterness but I would say light for style. This might be due to a bigger or at least more than usual hop finish aroma/finishing hops. This isn’t like an IPA but more closer to Victory Prima Pils, but maybe not with all the noble hops. The body is mid to light. A good backing but still crisp, very nice. Carbonation is light but what can you do. Overall I was impressed, one of the better regular beer that B&B has.

Yellow color that was a perfectly clear golden and the expected white head head and fizzy carbonation. It also had the most wonderful fruity aroma. The taste really shocked me, fruity with dusty, earthy hop tones. This was an excellent pils and the Bull and Bush has really been impressive to me as of late.

Here's your typical German pilsner, but with a bit more kick to it. Not necessarily a hop kick, but something definitely more than what you normally find in this style. Order a couple of these out on the patio and enjoy.

this one surprised me. not usually big into pilsners, but this one was impressive. started rather unassuming by pouring a hazy flat yellow color with a tiny white head. plain as can be. smell picks up a bit, nice lemony and grassy hops, not overpowering, but definitely distinct. flavor was great, i was surprised how much was happening here. delicate lighter malts balance off a very interesting hop profile and make a very satisfying brew. feel is nice, super light at 4% abv and a skinny body, but this is a beer youd want to session. definitely a pilsner worth trying. also a good one to experiment with the fresh hop offerings at bull and bush.

On tap at Bull & Bush in Glendale. The beer arrives in a standard pint glass. A straw yellow color that is mostly clear, slight hazing, no retention of the non-existent head. Little lacing. The nose is as the name implied and has a noticeable hop forward scent with citrus floral tones. Not much in terms of malt found in the nose. The flavor provides more the of the pilsner malt character you'd expect together with the citrus floral hop flavor. A lighter medium bitterness. Lighter bodied. Finishes crisp and lightly carbonated. Overall, I enjoyed this beer more than anticipated and would order again.
