From the growler filled at the Roadhouse 101 in Lincoln City. Brownish amber in the glass with nice suds and lots of lacing. Surprisingly, it doesn't taste so much like the usual pelletized Cascade, but has that real herbal, sticky bud taste. Also surprisingly, there is not much bitterness at all. Faint aroma is somewhat disappointing.

There is more of a tangy, rather lemony flavor of the herbaceous hops. Malt is somewhat present but just a faint crackery note. Body is light but fairly substantial mouthfeel. A little acidic and bitter at the finish. Quite tasty but my description doesn't do it justice. Last night I had the McMenamins fresh hop brew, same hop, and it was sensational. More fragrant. The Rusty Truck version is very drinkable, but more dank and less aromatic. Brewery calls it 65 IBUs.
