Bottle on a irish pint.
Great look. Thick black, brown head. Medium retention.
Smell of roasted sweet malts. Hints of chocolate.
Strong flavor. Sweet roasted malts in the front, with hints of chocolate, and plum or raisin. Asertive biternes that feels come from the roasted malts rather than from the hops.
Well balanced beer, you can taste the alcohol, but for 10% is not that Strong.
Nice beer, very enjoyable. One of the best mexican beers I ever had. Defintetely will enjoy this again.

You gotta like chocolate in beer to like this one. Interesting combination of flavors, but not successful. Smooth from the oats, but a bitter finish.

Pours a dark chocolate color. Aroma is a little boozy with hints of chocolate. Flavor is light cocoa with some roasted malts and a dry finish from the oatmeal. Body id very thin. Overall this is ok but flavors and fell aren't working for me. A little bland and very thin.

Served in a snifter, it pours black with a little dark brown head that dissipates quickly.
The aroma is chocolate, vanilla, alcohol, soy sauce, roasted malts, and a distinctive sweet smell that I suppose comes from the oats.
The taste follows the nose, perhaps just a hint of dark fruits. I can see where the acid mentions from the previous reviewers come from, but I thinks that it really is the soy sauce/umami flavor, and it is very aggressive. The finish has a bitter tone, and the general mouthfeel is smooth and thick.
If the soy sauce, umami flavors were an undertone instead of the protagonists, and if it maybe had a little less booze, this would be a great beer.

Brown black color with a fluffy dark caramel head with a very short retention.
Light aroma with notes of roasted coffee grains, cocoa, licorice, maybe earthy hops and charred wood.
Flavor with predominant notes of cocoa whitey juice, licorice, cola, mocha and charred wood. Hints of cinnamon, oats, nuts and acid dark fruits. Dry aftertaste with a medium bitterness.
Though it gives an oily feel, it has a deceivingly medium body with carbonation of tiny bubbles. Alcohol of 10% abv is very well disguised, I am actually not sure this is that strong.
Quite unique, this felt to me like an Imperial Oatmeal Stout mixed with cocoa juice (the one with a white appearance). It gets better throughout the degustation, once your brain starts to understand its flavors.

Very dark brown body, almost black, with a light brown head. Medium to full body. It's acidity gives a 'winey' flavor to it. Notes of cocoa are noticeable. One of the best Mexican stouts I've tried so far, my only complaint is it's head, which looked nice at first but dissipated quickly.
