Formerly called 'Imperial Hop, Drop 'N Roll'
Higher ABV and Hop Dosed Hop, Drop 'n Roll. Same recipe as HDR but more concentrated making the abv and IBUs higher and we double dry-hopped it instead of the normal single dry-hop.

16 oz. Can dated 1/14/21
Slightly hazy orange color with an inch of fine white head. Full cap and curtains of lacing. No floaties or sediment.
Strong orange, pine, melon aromas.
Full dank pine, light grapefruit, pepper flavors.
Nice bitter hop tickle, good carbonation, malt us well balanced by the dry hopping. No alcohol heat.
Increased depth of hop flavor is the payoff for the ABV jump. Being very fresh makes this an easy decision to buy.

16 oz can poured into a tulip glass, a slightly hazy orange with a two finger white head that retains for a majority of the glass. Stone fruit and pine aroma. Taste is similar with some grassy herbal notes. Goes down smooth, hides the 9%+ well. Medium amount of carbonation and feel. Has a dry bitter finish. I prefer the original, though this is absolutely worth trying.

A- pours a clear golden-orange color with a one-finger foamy white head that has great retention and leaves some lacing behind
S- hop profile is primarily zesty citrus, orange & grapefruit, with some piney undertones as well. Equal parts bready and toasted malt
T- zesty grapefruit and orange notes up front are complimented by some resinous pine and grassy hop notes. Mid-palate gives some slightly sweet and bready malt notes that continue into a bitter, zesty and piney finish, a bit of booze on the linger
M- medium heavy body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into a creamy, warming finish
O- a classic, balanced DIPA is not something many brewers are making these days, this is a nice example of the style that used to dominate the craft beer market

Pours into an imperial nonic a deep burnt orange with a billowing two finger pillow-like white head that has great lasting power.First off love the big resinous quality in the nose along with some sharp grapefruit rind,a hefty sweet caramel element is there as well, loving the west coast vibe going on.Flavors of pine, grass, sharp citrus, and sweet caramel, the sweetness is big but man I'am savoring the blessed pine resin. It can be hard to find DIPA's like this anymore, great job NODA for this one.
