Served by brewery rep's at the NC Brewers Fest.

A: pours a light amber color.

S delicate and floral, with some earthy/yeasty tones. Hints of orange, chamomile and lemon.

T: Belgian yeast produces lots of bananas and clove flavor. Could use more hops, IMO.

M: Smooth and refreshing. Very good carbonation.

O: works well as intended: a witbier for a hot summer day.

On tap at World of Beer Raleigh. Served in a pint glass.

A - light orange with a yellow hue; no head

S - apples, belgian funk, faint white grapes

T - apples, white grapes, bitter finish with a nice hop character, a bit of Belgian yeast throughout.

M - medium bodied, smooth, well carbonated

This is a delicious, quaffable, Belgian ale. Usually for me the spiciness and funkiness of a Belgian will slow my drinking. I don't have that problem here. There's a hop character that balances the Belgian spiciness and fruitiness. This is definitely one of the most drinkable Belgian pale ales I've ever had.

Had while hanging out at the brewery playing Corn Hole. Served from tap into a NoDa shaker. Poured a hazy pale yellow with a one finger white head that subsided to half a finger very slowly. Maintained phenomenal lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, wheat, banana, and subtle spices. The flavor was of sweet malt, wheat, banana, and spices. It had a medium feel on the palate with medium carbonation. Overall this was a good brew. While this one wasn’t the most overly complex brew out there, it still managed to hit all the right spots with the flavors and aromas going on here. The right amount of intensity was also key to this one. Very refreshing and easy to drink. I highly recommend this one to anyone who sees it on tap.
