Poured into a Bruery snifter.

Pours a dark brown and looks among the best. Minimal head that fades.

Aroma is a bit boozy with the Buffalo Trace influence mending with sweet caramel and toffee notes.

Taste is smooth. Among the best BA stouts I've ever had. Good amount of barrel but it blends well into a caramel, sweet, marshmallow goodness.

Not too syrupy and slight carbonation.

Maybe one of the best BA Stouts ever made. Wow. This is amazing.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Had this after regulars Remy.

Appearance - Black with a nice khaki head. Medium collar. Slight ruby tinges at the edge.

Smell - Even sharper bourbon than the Heaven Hill Remy. Doesn't seem as boozy. More chocolate.

Taste - Again the bourbon is distinct. It's a separate flavor from the beer itself. Chocolate less caramel and cola. More straightforward.

Mouthfeel - Arguably more bourbon but less booze. Medium heavy.

Overall - The barrel is a little nicer than regular. Both are incredible beers.
