Served in a shaker pint glass at the taproom.
Beginning the Raptors' first competition appearance in about six months with a new saison. It pours a partly hazy straw topped by a finger of white foam. The nose comprises lemon zest, cracked wheat, very light Belgian yeast, light coriander, and a touch of white bread. The taste brings in more of the same, the lemon and wheat taking the fore. The body is a rather light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, a pretty nice saison, one that doesn't have too much Belgian or farmhouse character, but one that definitely satisfies on this humid evening.
