A unique twist on a great American-style wheat beer, with the addition of fresh local wildflower honey mixed with blood orange zest, and blood orange puree. The result is a medium bodied beer that is very smooth with a residual sweetness, and creaminess from the honey, and an exhilarating nose of citrus from the orange.

This one is a light, foggy, pale gold. More than two inches of fluffy, white head slowly fade to a blanket. Lots of random carbonation forms tiny bubbles, never settling down. Fine fingers of lace drag down in a thick coating on a Strangebird IIPA glass.

The orange is prominent, both in pulp and zest. Honey shows up later. It has a strange smell of cleaning solution that comes out late and detracts from the initial impression.

This has a surprisingly bitter flavor. Mandarin orange has a candy sweetness to it. It has a grainy, malt. The finish is modest, with astringency that doesn't fade.

A medium body with a light edge and a texture of tuille. Alcohol is as labeled. Carbonation is fine and prickly in the mouth.

While a decent beer, there is nothing special here. It is suitable for unwinding at the end of the day.

A refreshing wheat beer that was flavored with some citrus tangy notes complimented by some sweet honey notes. Pours a yellow-orange with about a finger of fizzy head that dissipates fast. Minimal lacing. Average carbonation. Clean beer with a good aftertaste to it.

A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high white head that left gradually settled down and left a thin collar around the edge, a thin patch of bubbles on the surface and some lacing down the sides.
S: Moderate aromas of wildflower honey are present in the nose along with notes of blood orange.
T: The taste is a mirror image to the smell and is dominated by flavors of blood orange with underlying notes of wildflower honey. Hints of wheat are also perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation.
O: This beer does a good job at showcasing the wildflower honey in the smell and the blood orange in the taste.
