12 oz can from a mixed 12 pack.
Packed on 10/10/17
Poured into a tulip glass

Crystal clear ruby orange with a khaki head that dissipates rapidly. Barely a trace of the head after first sip, minor lacing.
Smells earthy and tropical hops
Taste exceeds smell, pine, plum, grapefruit, more earth tones
Thin mouthfeel but a good hop chalkiness in back. Alcohol and carbonation nips the front of the tongue
A good American Pale Ale for late fall, warms you. Good for a night out

Right from the can..
Slight hint of hop and citrus, but at 50 IBU I was not expecting a real hoppy one.... This was very refreshing, clean and crsip.
A nice solid mouthful and a clean aftertaste

Easily a summer beer or a brew just sitting around after a game

16oz can. pours a dark clear amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is sweet caramel malt, fruity with some floral hops notes. Taste is sweet caramel malt, yeast, fruity mild citrus flavors. A medium body with moderate carbonation on the palate. Finish is sweet caramel malt, yeast, fruity mild hops bitterness. This brew seems to lean towards the sweet malty side with little hops. Overall an ok drinking brew.

A- Pours a deep, clear amber with a rather large, 3-4 finger head. Retention and lacing are both great. Head is very dense and frothy and a little off white towards tan in color.

S- Light to medium hop profile that is very pine like in flavor. Slight hint of light and caramel malts are lying just under the hops scent.

T- Starts with a small dose of hops, but not quite the quality as in the smell. The middle of the drink is more subdued in flavor with more of the malts coming through than the hops. Mostly a lighter caramel malt profile with a hint of brown sugar sweetness in there. Ends with a very slight return of hops, and a lingering caramel malt flavor.

M- Light and easy to drink. Medium carbonation level. Thinner feeling than most pale ales, but easily drinkable.

Overall, this is your run of the mill, brewery flagship, pale ale. I bet locals/regulars drink this like water at the brewery.

Malty up front with a little hops on the back end. Reminds me more of an English ale, but not bad. Easily quaffable.

16 oz can poured into pint glass

A- reddish orange... Very dark for a pale ale
S-very sweet yeasty malty ness
T- just like the smell, this is not a hop forward pale ale. Very malty sweetness with some yeast invests
M - stickiness for the finish

O- interesting for a pale ale. Malt and breads yeast run the show

CAN acquired as part of an overpriced 12 pack variety box. 12 fl oz pull-tab.

"American Pale Ale." "6.3% ABV." Hopped with Centennial and Cascade.

I get the Centennial hop flavour, but going Caramunich and Vienna on the malt backbone was a faux pas.

Drinkable and approachable, but its lack of depth of flavour and complexity make me wonder if it's really even worth my time to write much more about it. I've had far worse and this isn't bad by any stretch, but it's definitely a shrug of a brew with a dubious grain bill. I dig the classic hop utilization (Centennial and Cascade are solid choices for any pale ale), but neither is showcased particularly well. Nowhere near the quality I'd expect at ~$2+ per can (not that price affects my rating).
