Heady Topper is an American double IPA. This beer is not intended to be the biggest or most bitter. It is meant to give you wave after wave of hoppy goodness on your palate. Tremendous amounts of American hops will creep up on you, and leave you with a dense hoppy finish in you mouth. So drinkable, it's scary. Sometimes I wish I could crawl right into the can.
Freshness and control have always been my main concern when it comes to our beer. We are committed to providing you with an unfiltered and unpasteurized hop experience. Why do I recommend that you drink it from the can? Quite simply, to ensure a delightful hop experience. The act of pouring it in a glass smells nice, but it releases the essential hop aromas that we have work so hard to retain.
If you MUST pour it into a glass, you may find that some of the hop resins have settled to the bottom -- leave them in the can while pouring. This beer is perishable, and at its best when it is young, fresh and hazy. Keep it cold, but not ice cold. Drink this beer immediately, we are always making more. -- John Kimmich

This is the beer that started me on this journey. Before beer was something to enjoy, but now it has a whole new meaning. Not quite sure what that is yet but the flavor and experience here did something to me.

Wonderful flavor and mouth feel. Good to pour or just drink from the can as they suggest. Wish it was more readily available!

Lots of mango, peach, melon, apricot, pine, and even mint in the aroma and flavor; smacks you right in the face.
Looks like a well made double IPA; good head retention, lacing.
Nice, full body and full carbonation, nice sweetness on top of the palate with a balanced bitterness on the tongue that builds.
Slightly sticky up front and finishes dry.
Superb DIPA all around. Love it.

Wandered into a store while out on an errand and was approached by an employee who offered a case from the back. Score!
This beer is unlike anything I've had before. It's almost "pure" hop flavor. Earthy, natural, no distractions. Light carbonation, smooth mouth feel, no alcohol burn, just HOPS!
Nice long finish. Glad I finally got to try after hearing so much about these brews.

Found this beer yesterday at my local liquor world. It was limited to one pack per person and it was the last one in the store. I sent it because I was so curious. I looked it up and people have a hard time getting their hands on it during the limited time they sell. It’s honestly the best IPA I’ve had, it doesn’t leave the nasty hoppy flavor lingering, it’s crisp and almost fruity. Really cool can in my opinion too, really simple but unique. Lucky find on my part.
