Fairly scrappy notes from 2016. 4 pack of 16 ounce cans.
Has a cloudy orange look with a soap suds off white head and lacing is very sticky. Smelling caramel candy and some light hops and grains. Tasting sweet malt, a little bit of citrus peel and caramel. It is more sweet than bitter. It has a large feel and taste to it but isn't heavy. I'd try it again!

It has a medium low aroma with some citrus and some spice, traces of pepper and a hint of onion. It pours copper amber with a slight haze under a robust 3" beige cap with good retention. It has a light malt sweetness that softens an assertive grapefruit rind hop bitterness. Some hop fruit and spice ass to the medium malt flavors of bread crust and light caramel. It is creamy with a medium plus body and medium carbonation. A big spicy bitter IPA.

The big red can with a devils pitch fork on it had me anticipating a strong bitter IPA. It turned out to have a sweet caramel malt flavor that dominated the bitterness. Poured a nice golden orange color, very cloudy with a big frothy head and lots of white bits floating around. The smell was a mild caramel aroma. A sticky sweet feel. An intriguing look and great taste, I'd buy it again.

I'm really not surprised that Big Wood Brewery would such a misogynistic name for a beer. I hope it gets better from here. It pours a cloudy dark orange color. This beer clearly wasn't fined correctly. The head is solid though. The aroma is of caramel with hints of grapefruit. The taste is similar. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with adequate carbonation. Overall, this is a really poor example of an IPA.

This beer pours a clear pale orange with a large head. The aroma offers up grapefruit, sage, pine, mild caramel malts, maple syrup, orange peel, and something savory I cannot quite identify. The flavor features strong caramel malts and is very sweet, with pine, sage, anise, and orange peel flavors and very low bitterness. The mouthfeel is light at first, but turns to a very heavy, sticky finish. Overall the sweetness here is hard to overcome - there is not enough bitterness to counter it, and some of the hop notes just seem to clash.
