Wow. This beer is perfectly named. Totally captures the flavor of a thin mint cookie. Everything I wanted in a beer when I think about mint and cookies. So appropriate.

Small head but it leaves a blanket of lace. Not ass dark as most Stouts as some light shines through.

Exactly as advertised, with a great peppermint aroma.

Okay, I find this to be a really cool beer. This is like a Girl Scout's thin mint cookie. I've got to give them points for the originality. AND it tastes good. Okay, I need to get serious here as this is a novelty beer, but I do like it. It's very easy to drink, but it has two flavors: mint and chocolate. I can see this being very successful with the night club set, reminiscing about their childhood days.

32 oz growler poured into a tumbler.

Appearance - Black, a little transparent at the edges. Big off white head. Lasts forever. Nice lacing inside the glass.

Smell - Peppermint and dark chocolate. Blends nicely and smells exactly what I expected it to.

Taste - Peppermint. Dark chocolate roasted malts. Peppermint lasts throughout and lingers in the finish, making it a little astringent at points. The chocolate turns bitter and begins to taste like coffee.

Mouthfeel - High carbonation. Too thin. Bitter finish.

Overall - The adjunct flavors taste great, but the stout lacks some body.

Nice dark glass of beer. Has very little foam, almost none. Smells like mint, chocolate, coffee. Taste just like a liquid version of a peppermint chocolate candy, although they have done away with the sweetness. It is not a sweet beer at all, and actually there is no sweetness lingering. It is a straight stout, not overly bitter, and a bit watery.

Nice idea.
