Thanks to awoek305 for sending this one as an extra in our trade! Reviewed from notes. Poured from a 12 oz. can into an El Catador teku glass.

A: Mildly hazy gold, lots of lively visible carbonation, and a two finger white head with good retention. This is pretty for sure.

S: Resin and citrus hops, and light biscuit malts. More subtle notes of melon and flowery hops. Not a big aroma, and fairly simplistic – though remains appealing.

T: Resinous pine, and sweet biscuit malts that contribute a fair amount of sweetness without resorting to caramel or toffee flavors. There's also substantial melon hop flavors – more so than the nose suggested. Bitter grapefruit rind with some spicy and tropical fruits as well. Moderately bitter in the hang – grapefruit and melon.

M: Medium body, low alcohol presence. The carbonation sensation is a little on the low side of average.

O: This grew on me after the first few sips. It’s a pretty solid shelf IPA. Nothing I’d seek out or trade for specifically, but it was an awesome extra and certainly you could do worse if you were at a bar and this was on. There are IPAs/APAs sitting on the shelf around here that I’d prefer personally. But this is not bad at all.

12 ounce cans bought in Orlando, FL. Nice piney aroma and taste. This is my kind of IPA. Nicely balanced. I really enjoyed this and would buy again.

Light unfiltered copper look. Smell is very light. Probably too light. Citrus primarily. Mouthfeel is a malt cream. Hard to pin down but bitter hops all the way to the end in the taste. Good but not exceptional.

Light copper color with an inch of creamy tan. Moderate lacing. Citrus aroma dominates, but seems subdued. The taste is very citrus upfront with orange peel and grapefruit. The hop flavor lingers in the aftertaste. Not much malt is detectable. There's a gentle hop burn in the otherwise dry and lightly sticky mouth.

Can dated 3/30/16 poured nearly opaque into a pint glass with tons of bubble streams and pieces of floating yeast throughout. Thick off white marshmallow head that didn't recede but strangely left no lacing. Smells very malty and earthy. Maybe it's turned already being nearly three months in the can. Taste is earthy grassy and slightly bitter which leads me to believe it's age is affecting it. Mouthfeel is light and a little too watery. Not something I would purchase again.

Copper in color. Piney in smell. Not a favorite.
