12 oz. can served in a pint glass. Packaged 8/5/22. Pours a clear light amber in color with a half inch of off white foam. Light malt notes on the nose with no real hop presence, some fruity notes with warming. Taste is malty with muddled caramel and biscuity notes. Finish is fairly sweet with caramel notes dominant. Faint bitterness and slightly cloying on the finish with some hop spice rounding things out. Chalky. Overall nothing special yet seems to check all the boxes. Average on a good day and lacking bright and crisp notes I would expect in the style.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of just off white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a ton of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aromas is heaviest of a citrus smell being a mix of tangerine and orange as well as some grapefruit aromas. There is a little bit of a bready aroma as well as a touch of herb.
Taste – The taste begins with a very doughy and lightly toasted bready flavor with some sweeter notes of caramel. There is a light hop taste of a herbal and grapefruit nature at the start as well, with the herbal hop getting more intense as the taste moves forward. Toward the end some light citrus fruit tastes joins the caramel flavor adding a bit more sweetness. With the increase in the herbal hop as well as a touch of earth, one is left with a rather malty and more dank hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is average in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average. For the mix of flavors a bit of a lighter body and higher carbonation would have likely been a bit better for keeping the brew more easy drinking.
Overall – I liked the dank hop, but the malt heavy flavor really detracted from it a bit. OK, but nothing all that fantastic.

Poured from a draft into pint glass in December 29, 2018.
Appearance: Golden with light tan head. Head is very thick and there is good lacing.
Smell: Strong aroma of hops, pine, and citrus, as well as some sweetness. Overall the hops aroma dominate the others.
Taste: Interesting taste. There is a typical hops and citrus flavor but with some sweetness as well. This is not as sweet as their Hop Storm IPA. Overall a nice balance and very drinkable.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied.
This is an interesting IPA. It has a nice mix of grapefruit, hops, and other flavors, which makes it interesting. I like the overall balance, and that the hops do not dominate the flavor. I like this better than their Hop Storm Pale Ale, but both are good.
