This traditional seasonal lager has a malty, toasty character with a mild hop bitterness in the finish. Amber in color, medium-bodied and very smooth from a long lagering process.

Flashback #15 - Nice little hint of spices makes this one pleasant. Had it in Orlando, FL.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear orange amber color with a one finger head of off-white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a decent sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is rather strong of a very doughty smell mixed with some light sweeter notes of caramel. Along with these aromas comes a decent showing of a light toast smell as well as a touch of mustiness and a bit of herb.
Taste – The taste begins with a lightly toasted bready flavor mixed with notes of a light caramel and harvest fruit sweetness. Along with these tastes comes some notes of a doughiness and a hint of toffee. The sweet flavors of caramel and toffee are lighter upfront, but they grow stronger as the taste advances all at the loss of the harvest fruit tastes. At the same time, the breadiness get a bit stronger and is joined by some lighter flavors of grass and hay, to take the taste profile to its end and leaving one with a
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the slightly thicker side for a brew of only 5.6 % with a carbonation level that is rather average to slightly lower. For the flavor profile and the more malty nature of the brew the feel is rather well done and helps coat the tongue in the subtle, yet well blended and appreciable tastes.
Overall – A decent Oktoberfest overall. A little heavier on the malt side, but still rather easy drinking nonetheless.

Had at BJ's Oktoberfest dinner 2017 so took no notes. I enjoyed it though.

Pretty color amber, good clarity, full inch of head to it. Solid sheet of lace. Delivered a decent amount of malt, caramel and toffee in the aroma. Some grain aspect too.
Taste was smooth, albeit run of the mill. A little bitter, not too bad. Best thing about it is the appearance. You should have seen this dumpy girl failing out of nursing school for the second time drinking this in between finals. Super desperate and depressing.
