On-tap at BJ's Brea

A: The beer pours a very pale yellow color with q finger of soapy white head.

S: Smells intensely citrusy. A lot of lemon and orange notes with a fair amour of candied lemon peel. Certainly some coriander notes and a little bit of white pepper. Not much in the way of malts.

T: Some good wheat flavor, which is a bit surprising. Moderately sweet with quite a bit of citrus on the flavor, as well. Heavy on the lemon mid-palate with the coriander coming toward the back. A little bit watery.

M: The body is light with a medium to high level of carbonation.

O: Perhaps not surprisingly, this was a lackluster witbier. Not something I would revisit.

Drank on 6/1/10
Poured on-tap into a pint glass at BJ's

A - This beer is super hazy and has a orange yellow color to it with a medium sized head. Left a thin layer of lacing as I drank it.

S - Smell was nice. The main smell was grain, something similar to a saison smell in my opinion. Along with spices, citrus and hints of banana.

T - Taste similar to smell. Had a nice wheat flavor that is more subdued than the smell. Also had the notes of citrus and spices that I mentioned in the smell. I really enjoyed the taste.

M - Crisp and refreshing. This beer is of a lighter body and had an ample amount of carbonation.

D - This is a very drinkable beer with a lower ABV, I think this is a great seasonal from BJ's and one of their best beers IMO.
