This definitely tastes like Orange cream soda. A good one at that. Yes, it is sweet, but that is what you expect, right? It is reminiscent of the Mikes hard lemonade where there is barely a hint of alcohol in the taste, you get a thirst quench, yet you enjoy the pleasant effect of it. This is very well done.

Coney Island Hard Orange Cream Ale has a thick, quickly-dissipating, white head, a clear, orange-copper appearance, and no lacing. Aroma & flavor are of A&W Cream Soda. There is an orange undertaste. Light-to-medium mouthfeel. Sweet finish. I don't like this type of thing (flavored soda), but they nailed the style.

I'm new to beer. I like this one. It tastes like a orange creamsicle with not any alcohol aftertaste. Danger danger. I'd buy it again.

Decanted from a 12 oz (355 ml) bottle into a conical pint glass; drink before April 2018.
A: Pours a crystal clear, tarnished bronze color with a briefly evident head, little retention, and no lacing.
S: Tart without clear evidence of citrus. Aroma somewhere between cream soda and sarsaparilla.
T: Very sweet. Flavors of cream soda and sarsaparilla predominate. Orange flavor subtle but appreciable at times, but seems artificial and medicinel. No appreciable bitterness.
M: Light bodied with moderate amount of carbonation. Smooth, with a very sweet, although not unpleasant aftertaste, like an unadulterated soda.
O: Hardly seems a cream ale, pretty clearly a hard soda. Drinkable, orange element does not really add. Should have contemplated a hard cream soda.

Smells like orange creamsicle and the initial taste reminded of Stewart's orange cream. But the finish is very odd....Almost medicinal. Hides the alcohol well. Don't think I'll be revisiting.
