I'm not much of a fruity Beer Drinker. I really didn't read the description of the beer as I normally do. It was a bit too much orange to it and the Hops were a little bit more than I like... It was sharp at the Finish.

Great hop profile and look but the mouthfeel is a real let down.

A new arrival here in NH. Coney Island brews. 4 pack tall boy 16 oz. Cans. $7.99!

The graphic art on the can is very interesting. Especially if you like mythical lore and creatures. This "Merman" is pretty impressive, Marvel Universe style.

A bold golden color, relaxed visible carbonation creates a classic white foam topping. Spreads out eventually, sticky lace for sure.

Sweet cream 'O corn scented malt, pretty big and brash. High heat tingle, green herbs and grains style aroma galore. Sour yeast and vanilla backdrop. A very big aromatic thing.

A big, sweet, and once again, Cream O corn from the can flavored malt. The malt is pretty heady, medium to practically full mouthfeel from the Imperial amount of malt. Very tasty for sure, the balance comes with a huge herbal, earthy and slightly bitter hop thing. Green-leafy-veggie style hop taste beyond the previous....rye spice...and some big, metallic and bitter piney hop burst; but without doubt, blends with the sour pils yeast very well. A spice and warming heat makes the nig medium feel a little bit extra neat. As the liquid warms the spice/herbal sour tones really pop out with finishing flourishes of sour and sweet herbal lingering. After a few 16oz. Servings, it see.s as though the bitter, earthy hoppy flavor's become a bigger part of the show. Tangy, metallic and bitter hoppy and yeast effect plays a big part, straying from any traditional pilsner. The pils flavor is still there without question but maybe a bit more adulterated and enhanced by alcohol and big hops than I had originally expereinced. At any rate, a mighty fine Imp Pils.

At 7.9 % abv. This boasts some seriously bold and intense flavor's and aroma's, which is perfect to back up it's Imperial stule status. But it really never goes to far away from a very classic American pilsner. Extra complex for pilsner, hence, the Imperial lable. Pilsner x 2. This brew follows some other pretty great brews in this session and it still stands out. The piney hop and big spicey hop really makes it something unique and rather strange in the long run.
