Safe Harbor American Blonde Ale is always smooth and easy to drink. It has a clean profile and just a touch of malt character. Held to the light, it is light gold in color and brilliant in clarity. A slight residual sweetness is offset with just enough hop bitterness to keep things balanced.
Nothing defines our American Blonde Ale better than the very approachable and highly drinkable characteristics that make it ideal for any occasion year round. With a balanced character and relatively low alcohol level, it has a perfect balance of malt sweetness and hop bitterness.
This is a terrific “gateway” beer that introduces light beer lovers or pale lager drinkers to a more flavorful craft beer and ultimately an entirely new beer drinking world of flavor.

Bottle shared by Kelly and Paul, thanks for the opportunity! Light golden color with a small bubbly white head. Light pilsner maltiness bits of fruit and earthy . Not horribly clean for a lager, decent but not great and questionable bottle age.

A solid blonde ale where the taste is as sexy as the label. Very drinkable.

The Great New London Brewing Co. "Safe Harbor American Blonde Ale"
12 oz. brown glass bottle, no apparent freshness dating.
Appearance: Slightly hazy deep golden body beneath an average sized head of bright white that drops readily and leaves only standard lacing behind.
Aroma: Grainy malt with a waft of leafy/grassy hops.
Flavor: Solid grainy malt is balanced by spicy, herbal and grassy hops and a solid bitterness. Dry, lingering finish with some residual hops.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with a gently crisp, very fine bubbled carbonation.
Overall: A solid straightforward blonde that doesn't shy away from hop bitterness or flavor - or malt for that matter either.
