-Citra, Galaxy, & Nelson Sauvin. 9%.
A: Beautiful bright orange glow, with a beefy and bready capping of one inch. Good dense nature with sporadic quick bursts of macro-carbonation bubbles. The lacing band is thick and prominent around the vessel. A second pour dumps a ton of yeast causing a heavy cloudiness.
S: Grapefruit juice, fresh and vibrant has spicy notes of citrus and lime. Semi-tart pineapple juice, white gapes and dank peaches. Very good awareness, the juicy grapefruit aroma being the star of the show.
T: Tart grapefruit flavor felt a bit tinny and thin at first but thickened up thereafter. Bittering citrus hop flowers moves in, some tart pineapple along with dry grains, perhaps pilsner? dry and grainy. Grassy and grainy medium feel, tart, and dry on the tongue, with a solid bittering factor on the hold.
M: Slippery and thick from hop resins.
O: Overall a nice bittering bite of dry hop flowers, citrus and grassy tart tropical composes this spider bite to the tongue of bitterness. Well blended and brings an old school style of blunt hop force that shellacs your tongue with a lingering presence. The 9% seems very well manageable.

Pale straw colored ale poured with a minimal big bubble head that dissipated fast. Bubble gummy nose coupled with heavy citrus. That sweet bubble gum nose is not evident in the palate which is full of multi layer hops that explode in the mouth and a malty bread like finish. The double IPA finishes with a nice bitter aftertaste and finally the evidence of alcohol.

L: Hazy, translucent pale yellow/straw, with a big creamy white head that dies down about half a finger. Quite a bit of streaky lacing.
S: Juicy tangerine and yellow grapefruit along with some light pineapple, mango, and white peach notes. There's also a big catty dankness with some pine. Smells something like Enjoy By but less pungently dank with a more subtle emphasis on tropical fruit.
T: Juicy orange, peach, and pineapple upfront; followed by a snappy transition to pine and dankness. A firm crackery malt holds it up, leaning towards dough and white bread, never growing sweet with alcohol well hidden. There's a firm pop of pine sap on the back end, before closing it with lingering bitter grapefruit pith and peel.
F: The heavier side of medium, well rounded and slightly creamy, with a moderate carbonation that pushes it gently.
O: Despite the appearance and hops, this is more West Coast style than New England, but fantastically so. This is like all the West Coast hoppy flavors so well done.

Pale gold with just a faint haze, fat white head, thick lace behind... Aromas of citrus pine, bold and forward, preview the bitterness bomb that follows... Brewed with Citra, Nelson Sauvin, and Galaxy hops... tongue-gripping pine bitterness, mild fruit sugars in the background... Medium body, lean and taut, modest carbonation, a little bit of stick and tack; drying finish... A lot I like about this beer... From their April 22nd can release...

Poured from a 16oz can into a speiglau IPA glass.
The look is a pale orange and a thin dense head.
Aroma is astrigent lemon with a big herbal hop hit at the end.
Taste is a lot more of that herbal bitter hop with a little pine and a big mellow orange hit at the end.
Absolutely delicious. Kinda old school big hop DIPA, and it's amazing.
