Pours a hazed copper color with a finger of tightly packed, off-white bubbles on top. They have solid retention and leave decent lacing.

Great aroma of slightly nutty malt and some light earthy hops, not unlike an Oktoberfest.

The taste follows closely: malt forward up front (slightly nutty) while maintaining fairly strong, tea-like bitterness in the finish.

Full bodied and creamy feeling with plenty of carbonation.

British styles are what Forest & Main do best. I’d rather have this on cask at the pub, but this is a good canned example. Maybe a hair too nutty to be among their best.

16 oz can into nonic pint glass

Clear, medium golden color, foamy white head. Aroma and taste of biscuity malt and earthy grassy hops. Crisp bitterness. Thinner bodied. Overall right on for the style
