Great citrus - tangerine, buddha's hand - and funk - washed rind cheese, rising bread - on nose. Flavor follows but doesn't really pop due to the fact that it's completely flat. Add carbonation and this is phenomenal.

500 ml bottle into a teku glass. 5.5% ABV. Bottled on 11/13/2014

Appearance: Pours a bright golden yellow with a finger of a white head that settles to a thick ring. Body is very hazy with quite a bit of fine sediment.

Smell: Hay, floral, honey, oak, hint of pineapple, Belgian yeast. Nice funk.

Taste: Follows the nose pretty closely. Mild sourness throughout with hay, fresh grain, with honey and mild floral notes as well. Definite barnyard like character as well, but not approaching what you'd get from say, a lambic.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied with low medium carbonation. Dry finish. Really refreshing.

Overall: Another really nice bottle from F&M. Worth seeking out and I suspect it might develop favorably with some age.

First had: on tap at F&M, Ambler, PA

Poured a slightly hazy copper color with a small white head that sank to a ringlet; moderate lacing. Nose of honey and caramel, bready yeast, light floral hops. Taste of light honeysuckle up front, floral and grainy, notes of caramel, slightly woody, finishing off with a bit of yeasty funk and a low-key bitterness. Light-medium body, and quite easily drinkable.

After conditioning in the bottle, a nice lemony tartness profile comes out. It would help if the bottles were a bit more carbonation, but oh well.

A: Hazy golden-straw colored body. Moderate frothy white head. Traces of lacing.

S: Floral notes dominate the initial aroma. As the beer warmed, honey and the Belgian yeast character started to come out.

T: Floral, herbal, and oak notes are present. Just a hint of farmhouse funk. Yeast character compliments the honey flavor addition.

M: Medium bodied. Assertive carbonation. Clean, dry finish.

O: A tasty saison that is a real treat at the low ABV.
