What an awesome new place in downtown STL! A short walk from the hotel I was staying at, this place was perfect for the craft beer boom in St. Louis. With 30 local taps, it's the perfect place to try all the new brews from 2nd Shift, Charleville, Civil Life, 4 Hands, Urban Chestnut, Six Row and of course Schlafly & O'Fallon. It is definitely hipster-ish. Funny seating, like a table as long as the bar. Antique windows hanging on wire divide the dining area from the kitchen. The service is good. Great friendly servers at the bar. Table service was a little slow upstairs, but my party was pretty lame (only 2 of the 5 were eating). Already been mentioned but the selection is awesome. All STL area taps (except at the time they had Deschutes Twilight). They have two serving sizes - 9 oz for $3 or $4 and 16 oz for $6 or $7. The food was great. Amazing fries with a myriad of choices for dipping sauces. The Mediterranean Lamb Burger was insanely good. I could see this being a great place to take the kids after a Cardinals game (about a 6 block walk).

Visited late on a Monday night with Wade and Adam, about 10:30pm. The kitchen was still open.

V – Bright and shiny. The vibe, in my opinion, is decidedly not a beer bar. Don’t get me wrong, it is a very nice place, but most BAs would not expect this to be a good beer bar, but it is. 4

Q – No reason to have a concern over so many taps. Beer tasted fresh. Clean and proper glassware. 4.25

Ser – Great service. Friendly. Advice given freely. 4.25

Sel – A good selection of beer. Same owner as Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar, but I believe the Bridge (at least during my visit to St. Louis) had a better tap list on this visit. 4.25

F – Had a great burger. Fries, even with dipping sauce were lacking. Frickles were good as well. 4.25

Hit BR during a biz trip to STL after reading the enthusiastic comments logged thus far on BA. I'll 2nd the favorable assessments; I'm always elated to find a place offering a plethora of local brews not available on my home turf and with its 30+ taps, BR satisfies that criteria. I had perhaps the best ESB I've ever sampled outside of the UK, Civil Life's Angel & Sword, which was bitter as bitters should be, with its edge not buried in the malt. Also had Modern Brewery's Citrapolis, which was light, fruity and smooth as glass and the only thing I found lacking was the next one and finished off with local favorite Schlafly's Farmhouse, that offered a spicy blast of fruity flavor.
I understand BR been open for 5 or 6 years and hope they enjoy many more years of successful patronage. Grand place which I'll return to on my next trip and I'll have to hit their sister outlet, The Bridge, too.
