12oz can. BIEB date stamped on can bottom as '10/10/21' - a little past its prime date.
Cloudy, straw colored body. Three finger white head upon pouring, which settles back to a tight bubble cap. Leaves scattered bits of lacing.
Aroma is toasted wheat malt with a whiff of blueberry.
Taste is a light blueberry cap over the crisp wheat ale. Wheat malt in the aftertaste.
Fizzy mouth feel. Very good carbonation.
Stills tastes refreshing, and has a crisp and clean expression. Slight sweetness for good balance.

When it is hot outside I likes me a nice refreshing brew - this Blue - is just that. Clean and crisp, light on the blueberry (not overpowering or sweet) it hits the spot either during a hot summer's day or relaxing after an outdoorsy day spent outside. I liked this alot, I'm glad I still have a couple more on hand.

SweetWater Blue into the 20oz. weizen glass. Three fingers of pure white fizzy foam that settles back rather quickly to a thin cap, leaving little white spots on the side of the glass. This is a straw colored beer, very fizzy, high carbonation, and slightly hazy.
I can pick up a light malt aroma, but not the blueberry yet. As this brew warms, the blueberry becomes more noticeable.
On the taste we start crisp, then some sweetness, with a hint of blueberry. This is mostly a wheat ale with some light blueberry flavor.
Blue is very refreshing, not overly sweet like many fruit and field beers. The mouthfeel is light, making this very easy to sample several servings in one sitting.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden color with a tiny fizzy white head. The head fades very fast, leaving a touch of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is a nice mix of a blueberry aroma mixed with some smells of a grainy and bready smell. The blueberry is somewhat artificial in nature, but very enticing none the less. Along with these smells, comes a touch of hay and toast, producing a nice, blueberry muffin mix like aroma overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a mix of a crackery and bready malt taste that is mixed with a blueberry and caramel sweetness. As the taste advances the blueberry gets slightly stronger while the caramel fades a bit. At the same time a light level of hay and herb as well as a touch of grass comes to the tongue, leaving one with a crisp blueberry lager like taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light and crisp with a carbonation level that is rather high. For the mix of blueberry fruit and crisp lager flavors the feel is great and makes for a nice refreshing brew.
Overall – For a fruit brew, this this blueberry ale does a nice job, keeping it refreshing, flavorful, but not overwhelming. Overall crisp and easy drinking.
