A: This poured a cloudy dark gold with moderate white head.
S: It smelled like lemon zest and apricot and minerals, with some grapefruit and funky horse blanket.
T: It tasted like bitter grapefruit and lemon zest, with some funky horse blanket and earthy minerals and sweet apricot. It had a clean and bitter aftertaste.
M: It was oily with smooth natural carbonation. Nice slick body.
D: This was a complex and well balanced brew with bold and crisp scent and taste. The body was great, and the alcohol was well hidden. But the finish had a lasting bite, so it was better to sip. Could maybe age well for a few years, but I really liked it fresh. One of the better Brett IPAs I've had. Recommended.

A-a somewhat hazy golden orange color with two fingers worth of white head

S-caramel, citrus, and tropical fruits

T-caramel malt backbone, citrus, light tropical fruits, and a sour funk finish

M-light to medium body and moderate carbonation

Overall a pretty easy drinking DIPA, interesting combination with the brett and hops

Poured from 750ml brown bottle into a clear glass tulip. No bottling date. Obtained through generosity of my friend Erinn in ATL.

A: Very clear honey gold with1-finger off-white head with average retention and no lacing.

S: A lot of bandaid aroma, a lot of rosewater perfume aroma, no malt and little to no hops aside from a hint of orange

T: more bandaid and plastic chlorine with little citrus tangerine-orange-lemon, and extremely bitter.

M: Very light bodied with high carbonation.

O: Very tough to move past the plastic-y medicinal chlorine type of aroma and flavor. I don't get why people like these beers.

Pours an effervescent honey color with 2 finger of beige head. Decent lacing & average head retention

S: Pineappple & brett funkynesss, a little peach as well

T: Follows the nose, a little grapefruit up front. A little papaya sneaks in as this warms, more pineapple & just a kiss of wet hay as well, along with a little green melon & peach. Finishes with grapefruit & pineapple. a little dry, also lemongrass & modicum of sourness

MF: Medium body, delicate carbonation, lovely balance

Drinks so easy, ABV is artfully hidden, just enough brett to compliment this, not overpower it

Corked and caged 750mL bottle acquired at the brewery's 20th anniversary party. No bottling date but the anniversary party was 2/19/17. Served in a Sweetwater 20th anniversary snifter.

Pours hazy orange with almost three fingers of white froth. The head shrinks to a large island and fluffy collar, leaving only some sparce lacing.

Strong Brett nearly dominates the nose but is joined by oranges, pineapple and passion fruit.

Flavors of dankly bitter hop hash and wildly funky Brett come on strong. Lemon, orange peel, flower petals, passion fruit, a little caramel malt. Ridiculously easy to drink with its delicious harmony of Brett, hash and almost no detectable alcohol.

Dry, full body with subtle carbonation. The aftertaste is funky and bitter with earthy Brett, orange peel and onion/ garlicky dank hop hash.

Sweetwater rings in 20 years with a damned fine imperial Brett IPA. Part of me wants to save a bottle to let that Brett develop but this is so delightfully hoppy that it might be hard to show restraint.

The color of the beer was quite pale, and the body extremely hazy. The head formation was very large, exceeding four fingers thick, and forming a durable cover. The did justice to both the hops and the brett presence, presenting a bouquet of tropical fruits (mango, pineapple, and guava) and barnyard funk. The taste was a complex interplay between bitterness and funk, providing a bitter, tart, dry, and tropical experience. The malt sweetness was less than a typical DIPA, but this allowed the funky flavors to come through very cleanly. Quite dry feeling in the mouth, and hid the alcohol nicely. A delicious Brett bomb.
