G13 IPA is a strange new strain, indeed. We took the dank hop profile you’d expect from a hazy IPA, and married it with terpenes and natural hemp flavors. The result is a big yet balanced IPA that mimics the aroma and taste of a heady, green G13. G13 IPA is a sticky super-hybrid that’s ready to rip.
Pungent and dank aromatics on this terpene infused IPA fill the room once the beer is opened. We went with an aggressive dry hop schedule which interlaces nicely with the unique flavors to bring forward citrus and earthy notes followed by a resinous finish. This one’s fire!
Colombus and Simcoe in the boil and dry hop!

Very hazy/cloudy golden amber color with a very respectable foamy white head and even a bit of nice lacing.
The aroma is wet hay, hemp and a hint of tropical fruit.
The taste is hemp (or weed), more wet hay or dry grass, hints of tangerine and mango with a light caramel malt. The finish is dry with lingering hemp taste.
The body is medium, lots of carbonation, very smooth and very drinkable.
Altogether, this is something really different but at the same time very enjoyable, mild bitterness, very dank, very nice.

This is a good beer. I like it much better on draft vs the can. At the ATL bar it shows as hazy, but this beer is not hazy. Clear, clean, crisp and dank.

Hazy orange color. Big, white head. Pine resin, grass, and some dank notes in the aroma. Hoppy, bitter taste. Closer to a West Coast IPA than to a NE one.

Copenhagen 27/9 2021. 35,5 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Gasping skeletal fish on the black label.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a fruity, sweet odor mingling with a more prominent citric scent. Peach and moldy towels. Grapefruit and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Bitter, dry and a little bit unforgiving.

I'm far from a beer taste tester, claiming notes of Himalayan rain water, and Siberian tree sap.
However
I'm a lover of IPAs and this one definitely hits well.
Definitely get the slam of hoppiness on a freshly cracked can, and it's very much welcomed. First sip has great flavor, with the hops you'd expect from an IPA, but definite notes of hemp as mentioned several thousand times in this thread, as it clearly states on the can.
One or two and you're definitely feeling it with these if you're not an alcoholic.
Overall, if you like loud IPAs, this one does just fine. Especially at $15 a 12 pack at the world of wally.
I'm gonna go sim race and crash into people now. Night gents

Another pick from the Sweetwater IPA mix pack I picked up at Downtown Crown in Gaithersburg yesterday. Big fluffy head; nose of caramel and pine. Flavor is relatively mild at first but intensifies as the resin soaks in towards the end of the sip. Herbal and medicinal notes, pine needles, leather, and a little stale grassiness. The texture is smooth and creamier than you sometimes get with the style. Goes down pretty easy.

12oz can served in a tulip. Can is dated 11/17/23. Sent to me by @mr3Dphd
Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a huge fluffy head, settles slowly into a chunky mass, lots of carbonation. Smell is orange rind, old hay, moderate pine resin.
Taste is more on the dank side. Old hay still has a strong presence, but a lot of Amsterdam is there for the tasting. Some pine resin bitterness.
Mouthfeel is resinous, not heavy or thick. Overall, pretty good, though maybe starting to show some age, even though it's less than three months old.

Trash.
Years ago I had this and it smelled and tasted so dank it was like your were drinking liquid weed. Haven't seen it in years and grabbed some today. It literally smells almost devoid of anything and tastes like a SNPA with 1/4 of the hops. Absolutes trash. Its not old either. Best by date is 4 months from now.

My sample had a nearly opaque medium yellow color. The first sniff did not indicate a traditional IPA. The beer is more reminiscent of a good fresh German lager beer with a little extra bitterness. The most enjoyable characteristic was the the mouth feel which has a nice effervescence but smoother than expected. There's a definitive hop aftertaste that lingers. It's very drinkable and pretty different from other IPAs that I've tried and relatively light for its category.

Poured in a frozen stemless wine glass, cooled to about one ounce of frozen slush. Lots of head, smelled delicious and tastes even better. Very smooth. And the drink by was about 4 months away. Much more, but admittedly a different flavor profile than the Sweetwater Hazy IPA.
