Type: 12-oz. bottle
Glass: Pint mug
From: Total Wine in Ballantyne (Charlotte), N.C.
Price: $15.99 for a variety 12-pack
Purchased: July 30, 2014
Consumed: July 30, 2014
Misc.: Enjoy by Sept. 25, 2014

Poured a caramel, orange clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy off-white head. Below average spots of lacing on the sides of the glass. Below average retention on the top all the way down.

Really had to work for the smell, but got moldy wet hops, light orange rind, floral hops, citrus hops, orange zest and caramel wheat.

Tasted a bit better than the nose. Got tangerine rind, orange zest, floral hops, citrus hops, grass hops, caramel and some unknown spices.

Light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt finish.

Definitely more EPA than APA, but still just OK.
