Pours a orange amber with a huge expanding soapy head. Smell is malty and sweet with slight hint of floralness. Taste is toasty and sweet with little bitterness and an easy drinking body. Little lingering after taste. Overall a sweet toasty pale ale, worth a try.

Your usual Pale Ale, nothing more and nothing less, though I am aware of the oats that add a little bit of caramel but not much else.

Pours a usual amber with 1.5 fingers of foamy head that leaves some sticky lacing. A little bit of haze owing to the unfiltered nature of the beer.

Smell is pretty grassy and hop forward though it shows its malty body in the sweet bread.

Taste is pretty 50/50 though it would be nice if one or the other, hops or malt, did something to boost the other.

Mouthfeel is a little heavy and finishes with some nice fruity twang from the hops.

A pretty standard affair that sets itself apart by showing the quality of ingredients and craftsmanship. Are there better beers? Of course. But, it is hard to go wrong with this standard ale as an old standby.

To good health and good beer.

Out of the can. Smooth, relatively crisp nice subtle flavors with hop, grass and grains, and mainly the oatmeal does come through nicely in this very drinkable can of beer.
I'd seek this again, especially as a session brew. Well done, by this local brewery.
