I think my main qualm here is that it tastes like 100 other PNW-hopped IPAs. It's not a bad beer, but the heavy caramel malt/citrusy PNW hops/lightly boozy/heavy feel take on the style just feels a little tired.

Poured from a 12oz can into a speiglau IPA glass.

Look is a dark rich amber with gold highlights and a thick frothy head.

Lots of caramel malt with a citrusy hop note at the end sticky and full.

Lots of bitter rich hops right on the taste balanced by a strong malt backbone.

Im gonna be honest I had a hopslam before this beer and was worried it would mute the flavors in this beer. Surprisingly and pleasantly this beer came across real well. Stands as an excellent beer.
