This is all I want in a beer and it's just a hop, skip and a jump down the road in Dallas.

Appearance is a lovely copper orange with pillowy head that sticks around and moderate lacing that slides down the glass and stays on the surface of the beer. Slightly hazy but not bad.

Smell is very hop forward but not overpowering; clean, fresh and grassy with those nice grapefruit hints and also the sweetness of the malt underneath.

Taste is excellent. More hops with the citrus, grass and pine, and deep caramel malt flavors to balance it. Bitterness takes over at the end but keeps itself at a moderate intensity.

Mouthfeel manages to strike a balance between crisp and sticky, but it is refreshing overall and finishes very clean.

I feel like an idiot for letting this go by for so long, but finally I seem to have found my new favorite Texas beer. You don't have to be from here to enjoy it, because it ranks up there with the best of them, but it certainly helps.

To good health and good beer.

Beautiful copper orange color. Smooth silky mouth feel. Significant hop nose with a solid balanced taste experience. Worth grabbing!

Very much reminds me of my ANC beers and those of the PNW. Pours almost an orange color with white fluffy head. Smells of pine and grass with a citrus hint. Big hops up front. I mean huge! Citrus and floral mix in nice and there is a sweetness I cannot make. The finish is a bitter hop explosion.
A hop lovers dream and a must try!

Yeah. It's an IPA and full of hops. Nothing special here.

Massive pillowy off white head tops this beautiful orange/amber brew. Medium opacity with archipelagos of lacing down the sides.

As soon as the tab is popped this one delivers juicy fruity hops. Almost oaty creaminess to the malts and a piney bitterness trickling in the finish.

Drinks incredibly creamy smoothe and sticky at the same time. Wow. Suuuper easy to drink. Hops are dank and juicy with a hint of sweet tropical fruits, but also of juicy bitter citrus and a pine and pith type finish. There's a middle that is amber waves of grain as well.
Well it was their promise of an ode to the hops of my beloved PNW region combined with my region's decision today to be an ode to the Texas heat that informed my decision to crack this right now and man oh man was it the right decision. Much love to Nick for sending it along, this is an excellent IPA and one I would drink all the time if I were still in the Texas area. Thanks @Bulldoza!

Ok at best. Not much competition in DFW but still.
