Approachable, but not in a compromising way. Beautiful copper color. 2 inch head with modest lacing. I've had it on tap and from the can. Much prefer the former. Can seems s little lacking in carbonation. But an outstanding American IPA.

Damn solid IPA.... Very drinkable and pleasant. An incredibly fine, everyday drinker....Especially for lovers of hops. The perfect balance of hoppiness and citrus.

L- Brilliant color. Deep amber, pumpkin in appearance. About a half a fingers worth of head that quickly disappeared which was the only disappointment of this beer.

S- Not much here. Slight aroma of hops and malt. Hints of orange and just a touch of sweetness.

T- Very hoppy in taste. Incredibly smooth. Doesn't leave that bite like a west coast IPA may.

O- absolutely solid IPA.....the fact that it is easily attainable pushes this IPA over the top. Would definitely keep this in the fridge on a full time basis

Appearance: a pleasant orange and honey color with 2-3 fingers of thick, dense, off-white colored head, impressive head retention with large clumpy lacing

Aroma: first impression is the fruit scent; big citrus with a hint of bitterness; grapefruit and tangerine, the sweet lingers, but fades allowing you to appreciate the hop profile

Flavor: first impression is slightly sweet then slowly transitions into a hop finish, which, like the aroma, makes it easy to appreciate the hop profile

Mouth feel: easy drinking, medium carbonation and crisp, clean finish

Overall: The bitterness does not collide with your senses. Instead the bitterness of the hops marries well with the fruity influence giving a crisp, easy drinking IPA that has great balance. Definitely a must try IPA.

This is all I want in a beer and it's just a hop, skip and a jump down the road in Dallas.

Appearance is a lovely copper orange with pillowy head that sticks around and moderate lacing that slides down the glass and stays on the surface of the beer. Slightly hazy but not bad.

Smell is very hop forward but not overpowering; clean, fresh and grassy with those nice grapefruit hints and also the sweetness of the malt underneath.

Taste is excellent. More hops with the citrus, grass and pine, and deep caramel malt flavors to balance it. Bitterness takes over at the end but keeps itself at a moderate intensity.

Mouthfeel manages to strike a balance between crisp and sticky, but it is refreshing overall and finishes very clean.

I feel like an idiot for letting this go by for so long, but finally I seem to have found my new favorite Texas beer. You don't have to be from here to enjoy it, because it ranks up there with the best of them, but it certainly helps.

To good health and good beer.
