Bought a pint at a local restaurant on tap. Clear in the glass, minimal head, no real lacing. If it has an aroma, I couldn't discern it. Wonderful flavor, crisp and clean with no bitterness or lingering aftertaste. I will buy this for home consumption!!

A subtle sweet lemon front, malty cracker middle, smooth finish with a almost wheat encore.

Taste Rating in Words: It's a concert in your mouth, start the show off with a new song everyone loves, destined to be a classic. Middle of the concert is all the greatest hits. You finish the concert with the song that'll pay for your retirement. Crowd cheers, which brings you back for a few more pulsating moments.

Deep Ellum was the hot party spot when I was in college. This seems to have changed now that I am older. Now all the Hot Dallas Blondes seem to hang out in uptown. I never really cared much for fake Dallas Blondes anyway. Let's see if the beer is better.

Just like fake Dallas blondes this beer didn't give very good head. Just less than one finger and now lacing. The color was a little darker than a lot of blondes. I enjoyed the flavor and it went down easy.

very cool spot these guys have for themselves, and they appropriately had on a whole bunch of pale and lighter beers for the warm dallas weather. this seems to be one of their staples in house, and its not a bad beer, just a bit generic for a flagship type brand. maybe the good people of texas arent all familiar with a craft blonde ale, i can see this being an excellent sort of gateway craft experience, but it doesnt do much for the certified craft nut, other than maybe wet the whistle and get the party started. definitely the least exciting of their lighter offerings. a little honey malt sweetness in the center, and an extremely mild noble type hop on the very back end of it, but other than that, its good because its wet and its cold and it has nice carbonation. probably a great compliment to a heavy meal like texas bbq, something spicy or asian in nature, but as a standalone beverage, it was a little short on the flavor for me. i like the body though, its not watery or too lean, i think that keeps it feeling like a craft beer and i appreciate it. for a lighter offering in here thats truly unique and memorable while still being insanely drinkable, give their rye pils a shot instead...
